Publisher
Verlumun and Penda Publishers is the publisher of the Mdooter Journal of Communication and Digital Technologies (P-ISSN, 2006-0548, E-ISSN, 2006-3903). Verlumun and Penda Publishers is registered as a limited liability partnership (LLP) with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission under the Companies and Allied Matters Act, 2020, with registration number 7902404. The journal publishes manuscripts in an open-access model, making the published content freely available to all readers.
Open Access Statement
The Mdooter Journal of Communication and Digital Technologies is a fully open-access journal, meaning all articles are available on the Internet to all users immediately after publication. All articles are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). This license permits non-commercial use, adaptation, and distribution, provided appropriate credit is given, and any new resulting work is licensed under the same terms.

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global knowledge exchange.
Date of First Publication: 2024
Frequency of publication: The journal publishes one regular issue annually in March. Per our Journal Policy, one special issue may also be published per year.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
As an open-access journal, an article processing charge of 1000 USD applies to all accepted manuscripts. There is no submission charge, and please note that there is no waiver option for publication fees. As a Nigerian journal, authors are required to make payments in Naira. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) official exchange rate, effective on the date of the manuscript's acceptance, will be used to determine the final Naira value. Authors are responsible for ensuring the full amount is transferred, inclusive of any applicable bank charges or administrative fees.
Refund policy
The Article Processing Charge (APC), which authors pay, is non-refundable and is to take care of the cost of production and overall journal management. Only in exceptional cases will a refund application be considered. Below are some of the conditions:
- The application is made within 24 hours of payment.
- The basis for the application is overpayment.
- Refunds may be considered if an author erroneously made a payment prior to the issuance of an official letter of acceptance.
