The articles represent a broad reach, authored by 19 researchers from 12 distinct Nigerian academic institutions and the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). To ensure adherence to the highest standards, every manuscript underwent a mandatory, double-blind peer review with input from external experts. The issue was compiled and edited by the Journal’s Editor-in-Chief, Dr Gever Verlumun Celestine. The procedures for the publication of this special issue adhered to our guidelines on special issue publication, which are documented under Item 5 of our Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement and Item 1b of our journal policies.
