Vol. 3 No. 1 (2026): Regular Issue

This regular issue presents 10 critical articles that rigorously analyse the broader field of communication and digital technologies within the Nigerian context.

Guided by an editorial policy that prioritises scholarly quality over volume, the Mdooter Journal maintains a highly selective publication model. Although the journal has published a total of 35 focused articles across three volumes between 2024 and 2026, the content has already secured a significant global citation impact. This is evidenced by 51 citations in Scopus and 40 in the Web of Science, demonstrating the immediate relevance and academic weight of our published research.

Our growing international footprint is further reflected in our diverse pool of citation authors, with our research being cited by scholars in the United States, Austria, Germany, Japan, Ghana, China, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, and Australia. This global recognition establishes the journal as a definitive, high-impact regional voice with a truly international reach.

The 10 articles in this issue represent a broad collaborative effort, authored by 20 researchers representing 15 distinct Nigerian academic institutions. The competitive nature of this volume is underscored by our rigorous peer-review process: out of 113 manuscripts submitted, only 10 were accepted for publication. This results in a highly selective acceptance rate of 9%, ensuring that only the most robust and innovative scholarship reaches our readers.
